Rivers-Marie Winery

Just as you pull into Calistoga, Ca, you’ll see the Rivers-Marie winery on the right (if you’re heading north).  

They have excellent chardonnay and pinot noir.  And they have a wide range of pinots from all over northern California.  They also have a couple really great cabs that are reasonably priced compared to the rest of Napa.  Cabs under $150 a bottle?  What?!

The tasting room is quaint and bright.  The tasting is well curated and lasts about 1.5 hours as the pourer/host walks you through each wine, winemaking and regions where the grapes are sourced.
