Sojourn
Sonoma Square is home to a lot of tasting rooms. Shoot, there’s Auteur, Walt, 3Sticks, Kamen, etc. . . And Sojourn is right in there with them. It is just off the square on E Napa St.
Sojourn isn’t a big place, but their tasting room is well set up. When you walk in the tables are set and you get the feeling wine is just moments away.
This is a traditional Pinot/Chard heavy place. But you’ll also get a bit of sparkling wine that will blow your mind and some Cabernet Sauv at the end that is top notch. But we go there for the Pinot Noir.
The Chardonnay is excellent, and you’ll recognize many of the same vineyards on the bottles as many of the other wineries in the area — such as Sangiacomo Vineyards.
The pinots are amazing, and they have quite a few. Ratings are in the 95+ range usually. And they have everything from less expensive regional blends to higher end single vineyards. We’ve never had a bad Pinot at Sojourn.
