Lynmar Estate

This is one of those wineries that we have been hearing about.  Looking at their website, we could see that they had a large number of Pinots and Chardonnays.  What’s not to like.

The team at Lynmar were quick to let us do an industry tasting on a Sunday, when they normally would not have.  They waived our tasting fee as well.  The only limitation was that they only offered an industry discount on their Quail Hill wines.  But no matter.

The pourer was great, abrasive and totally fun.  He set us up with a great tasting of everything they had open.  So, we got a good section of their extensive menu through our palates.  The wines were all really solid.  To us the AMDG Pinot Noir was the hit of the day.

The folks that work there were really kind and knowledgeable.  The tasting room and the patio were very stylish.  From the patio you can see most of their vineyards that sit on a great hill, perfect for overnight cooling.  Pinot and Chardonnay love this kind of growing aspect.

Lynmar Estate Winery is a spot that should be on any Pinot lovers list of places to visit.
