Welcome to the newest winery in Suisun Valley.  The winery is located on Gordon Valley road just a few hundred yards from Mankas Corner.  We stopped here this afternoon and did a tasting.  The tasting room is small, cozy and welcoming.  But outside, they have a huge amount of space!

But aside from that, the wines are really nice.  Some of the most consistently well-made wines in all the Suisun Valley.  And we’ve been to them all.  Ryan’s white wines are all dry, fruity and concentrated.  The grenache is lovely, full of Rhone notes.  His red blend and Cabernet Sauvignon are plush and full of bright fruit, a lovely change from the meaty monsters of Napa Valley.

While we sat and tasted we got to meet Ryan himself.  He has a great story and makes some great wine with a good percentage of Suisun Valley fruit.  We got to try the 2021 and 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon.  These wines are highlight of the tasting and are full of ripe fruit, zesty tannins and mouth filling flavors.

If you get up to Suisun Valley, maybe on your way to Napa or SF, this is a great place to stop — just two miles from from I-80.
