Robert Craig Winery

Robert Craig’s tasting room is sort of hidden away on 2nd street in Napa.  We have driven past it several times.  Super cute little house.  You walk in and you feel like you are in someone’s living room.  Beyond that is the most adorable kitchen.  It is a household and they welcome you in as though you are stopping by for a meal. 

The staff were really nice and they sit down with you as you taste.  I like that.  They know their vineyards, wines and all wine making details.  

They pour a glass at a time and went at our pace.  I’m sure that if you were in a hurry they would adjust.  The wines were very nice, and I left with a Cabernet Franc and Grenache.  They have a basic Cabernet Sauv that goes out to restaurants and stores that was pretty stunning for the price.

If you are looking for a nice tasting experience at an unpretentious place, this is it.
